The purpose of this role is to ensure the technology related infrastructure of the (office) is operating and administered so as to provide the required level of services for staff and visitors. This entails an indicative emphasis of:

Primary Function: Utilize Microsoft SQL Server and related tools to manipulate, store, surface, and manage the firm’s data to enhance the business-related operations and financial reporting of the firm.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Devise and implement an integration, storage, maintenance, and security strategy for the firm’s business-related data.
  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server Integration Services 2012 jobs to extract, transform, combine and load data across a broad spectrum of business application relational databases, including accounting, human resources, legal personnel, marketing, etc.
  • Design, implement, and maintain a proprietary data warehouse to store the data loaded by the SSIS jobs.
  • Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server Analysis Services 2012 cubes to compile data into logical components for analysis, processing, and reporting purposes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Entity Framework data models and LINQ queries for data access via C# class libraries.

  • Familiarity with XML and XSLT.
